Blog Post 2: The best holidays ever
My best holiday ever was a trip that I made in December 2019, when I was 14 years old, to the Chilean Patagonia.
The trip was organized by my history teacher because it was a study trip. We travel to learn principally about the native people and the geography. It may sound boring, but it wasn´t.
I made my friend group on that holiday with people of my generation who were in class B (I was in class C). The people with whom I traveled were only high school students and three teachers.
We toured for seven days. The first place was Punta Arenas, where we knew the cementary and the main square, Plaza Muñoz Gamero. The main square has a statue that has a legend that says that those who kiss the foot of the statue will return to Punta Arenas.
We visited a lot of places, like Tierra del Fuego, Puerto Natales, and Torres del Paine.
I think that the best part was knowing the Fuerte Bulnes, not only for its relevant history, but also because from this place you can see Dawson Island, a center of torture in the dictatorship. I didn´t know this place before this trip, and its sad to think that in the beautifull place like that, it could be happens horrible things.

What a nice experience being so young, I've never been there but reading your blog makes me want to visit Patagonia.
